Terms and Conditions

The users are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully before availing of the site or using our services. These Terms and Conditions apply to you when you make a transaction. If you feel that these terms don’t do justice to you, then you have the freedom to discontinue our services.

General Terms

Our services are owned and operated by Make My Lappy. Users have the privilege to avail of all our services, given the condition that they comply with all our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies.

Make My Lappy enjoys the right to make modifications or replace any of the Terms of Use when we find fit. These modifications will always be updated on the Site. Users are advised to take the initiative and periodically check the Terms for Use for any changes. We will assume that you have given consent to these Terms and Services when you continue to access our services.

Service Terms

  • Repairs will be carried out for parts approved by the customers.
  • If additional repairs are required, the price estimate will be communicated through a call to the customer.
  • In the event of any Laptop or MacBook component being replaced, the previously used component becomes the property of Make My Lappy, who retains full authority to either discard or offer it for sale.
  • Though pick-and-drop services are free, a charge of Rs 300 per visit may apply if numerous appointments are made for pick-up without opting for repair services.
  • Customers must approve or decline the repair estimate within one week. If no response is received, we will assume that the repair request has been cancelled.
  • The official receipt of repair approval must be presented when collecting the repaired device.
  • Make My Lappy is not responsible for any data loss during repairs. Customers are advised to back up their data before submitting their devices.

Submission & Collection Policy

  • Devices not collected within 15 days of submission (whether repaired or not) will no longer be the responsibility of Make My Lappy.
  • After one month, customers will be liable to pay ₹100 per day as rent to keep their devices on Make My Lappy’s Professional Space.
  • Devices left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be disposed of as per company policy.

Customer’s Responsibility

  • Customers must thoroughly check their laptops for any dents, scratches, or damages before handing them over for repairs.
  • Make My Lappy is not responsible for any pre-existing damages or missing parts that were not disclosed at the time of submission.
  • Customers must inspect their devices at the time of collection to ensure all issues have been resolved.

One-Month Warranty:

  • MacBook Screens

  • MacBook Charging Ports
  • MacBook Wi-Fi Cards
  • MacBook Speakers
  • MacBook Adapters

When Warranty is Not Covered:

  • Battery Issues: Overcharging, swollen batteries, or using non-OEM chargers
  • Speaker Issues: Distorted or buzzing sounds
  • Warranty Stickers: Warranty is void if the sticker is tampered with or removed
  • Additional repairs not covered in the initial agreement
  • Accidental damage, water damage, or negligence by the owner

Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made upon completion of the repair service.
  • We accept both online and offline payments.
  • Taxes are applicable to all services.

Device Handling & Liability

7.1. Make My Lappy takes utmost care in handling your device during the repair process. However, we are not liable for any pre-existing damage or data loss that may occur during the repair.

7.2. We recommend that you back up your data before submitting your device for repair, as Make My Lappy is not responsible for any data loss. No responsibility for data will be assumed after 15 days from the date of repair completion.

7.3. Devices left unclaimed for more than 15 days after the repair will no longer be the responsibility of Make My Lappy, and we reserve the right to dispose of them as per company policy.

Data Privacy

10.1. Make My Lappy respects your privacy and will not share your personal information with any third parties, except as required by law.

10.2. Any data collected during the repair process will be used solely for the purpose of providing the service and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

License and Site Access

By using our website, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You will not use our website for unauthorized purposes, including downloading, copying, or inserting unauthorized links.
  • You will not use the website for commercial purposes without permission.
  • You will not make false or fraudulent transactions.
  • You will not use automated systems (e.g., bots or scrapers) to access our website without express written permission.

Customer Protection: We take full responsibility for your belongings and, hence, we provide a customer protection of Rs. 1,000 against damages.
