Terms and Conditions


Our users must understand the terms of service before using the site or any services that we offer. These Terms and Conditions are valid when a transaction is made. If in case, you feel that these terms do not serve you correctly, you are entitled to stop using the services offered by us.

General Terms

Make My Lappy is the owner and operator of the services offered. Users can enjoy all our services, provided that they follow all our Terms and Conditions and policies of privacy.

Make My Lappy reserves the right to modify or change any of the Terms of Use at their discretion. These changes will always be posted on the site. Users are recommended to take some effort and check the Terms for Use for any changes occurring from time to time. You are also able to access all the services provided by us. Hence, it will be presumed that, if you do so, you consent to these Terms and Services.

Service Terms

Repairs will be performed only for those parts that have been approved by the customers.

For extra repairs, the estimate will be provided via a call to the customer.

Make My Lappy, in accordance with its full rights, reserves the right to discard or sell any replaced Laptop or MacBook components.

While pick and drop services are provided free of charge, a Rs 300 fee will be levied for every subsequent appointment made for pickup and not accompanied with repair services.

Approval or disapproval of the repair estimate must be communicated within 7 days. In the absence of a response, we will take it that the request for repairs has been cancelled.

The receipt that officially signifies approval for the repairs needs to be shown when picking the device up from the repairs.

In the course of doing repairs, Make My Lappy will not be held accountable for loss of data. It is recommended that the customers back up the data before giving in their devices.

Submission & Collection Policy

Devices not picked up post 15 days of submission, whether repaired or un-repaired, will no longer be the responsibility of Make My Lappy.

Clients will from the first of the month incur a charge of ₹100 per day, which goes towards renting the device’s space in Make My Lappy’s Professional Space.

Devices that remain unclaimed for more than a month will be disposed as company policy dictates.

Responsibilities Borne by the Customers

A customer must make sure that every laptop coming their way, is free of any scratches, marks, or even dents before handing it over for repairs.

Customer is Responsible reiterates the fact that Make My Lappy isn’t liable for any damages presented, parts that may be missing, or other damages at the time of presentation that isn’t mentioned beforehand.

All customers collecting their devices must ensure that all the issues are solved beforehand.

Warranty Clauses

In regards to our warranties, we cover expenses on any repairs or parts as follows:

One-Month Warranty on:

Repair of motherboard

Three-Month Warranty for:

Replacing the motherboard at the end of the three months.

One Year Warranty Covers:

Batteries for MacBook

Keyboards for MacBook

Trackpads for MacBook

Screens for MacBook

Display Panels for MacBook

Charging Ports for MacBook

Wi-Fi Cards for MacBook

Speakers for MacBook

Adapters for MacBook.

When The Warranty is Not Covered:

Any issues concerning the battery. Overcharging leads to swollen batteries, and the use of non-OEM chargers.

Things Done to Speakers will Not Allow one to Hear Any Sound. A speaker emitting distorted sounds or buzz.

Tampering or removing warranty stickers will void any warranty claimed.

Repairs outside of the primary agreement will also be excluded.

Negligence on the owner’s part, water damage, accidental, and intentional harm done will also not allow them to claim the warranty.

Payment Terms

After completing the repairs, payment must be completed without delay.

Payment can be done, whether using online or offline methods.

All services provided will incur taxes.

Device Handling & Liability

7.1. Make My Lappy accepts no liability for any existing damages or data loss, as we do exercise a lot of care over your device during the repair process.

7.2. In order to avoid losing important information, we suggest making a backup before sending it to Make My Lappy. Once 15 days have passed from the date of repair completion, we will assume no responsibility for any data loss.

7.3. Any device left unclaimed after the 15-day window post-repair will not be the responsibility of Make My Lappy and will become company property, where they may be disposed of at will according to company policy.

Data Privacy

10.1. Make My Lappy is obligated to respect your privacy and cannot divulge any of your personal information to a third party without your consent, unless the law demands it.

10.2. Any other data collected in the course of serving a client will only be used in the execution of that service and in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

License and Site Access

We grant you limited access to our website provided you agree to the following rules:

Unauthorized use of our website, to include but not limited to downloading, copying, and hyperlinking, is strictly prohibited.

Without permission, they will not book or incorporate the website services for any commercial use.

You will avoid making any false or misleading statements in the transactions carried out.

You will not manually access our website using automated means (such as bots, scripts, or scrapers) without prior written permission.

Client Protection: We provide full protection of your assets, thus customer protection is offered up to Rs. 1,000 against any damages sustained.
