Plug-in jack modules can often be swapped at home; ports soldered to the motherboard need our bench equipment, so we carry the laptop to the workshop and return it after repair. Your device is covered up to a maximum of ₹10,000 while with us.
How do I know whether the fault is my adapter or the charging port?
A quick test settles it. We measure the adapter’s voltage under load — a charger that reads fine unplugged can still collapse when the laptop draws current — then check the jack pin for play and continuity. The in-store check is free, so do not buy a new adapter on guesswork; carry both the laptop and the charger when you visit.
