We do board-level work — SMPS repair, capacitor and port replacement — rather than swapping the whole recorder when it isn't needed. Where footage matters and the disk is the problem, we attempt recovery; serious mechanical failures may need our specialist data recovery team, and recovery can never be guaranteed.
What to check first
- Is the power adaptor seated and the socket live? Try another socket.
- Is the monitor on the correct HDMI/VGA input?
- Are cameras showing but nothing is saved? Note the recorder make and model for us.
Is a repair worth it?
On most units an SMPS, capacitor or disk fix costs far less than a new recorder and keeps your existing cameras and cabling untouched. My DVR won't switch on or is stuck on the boot logo — can you repair it without replacing the whole unit?
Usually, yes. Most no-boot cases trace back to the SMPS, swollen capacitors or board-level faults, which we repair at component level instead of pushing a new recorder. Bring it in for a free in-store diagnosis; if a replacement genuinely makes more sense, we will tell you honestly before you spend anything.
My recorder shows a hard-disk error — will my recorded footage be safe during the repair?
We attempt footage recovery wherever the disk allows, but we cannot guarantee it — a failing surveillance hard disk can lose data at any stage. Backing up important footage is always your responsibility, so please export critical clips before handing over the unit, if the system still lets you.
Do I have to bring the DVR or NVR to your shop, or can a technician check it at my site?
Both options work. Diagnosis at our workshop is completely free. If you would rather we come to your home, shop or office anywhere in Delhi NCR, the on-site visit costs ₹500, which is adjusted into your final bill when you go ahead with the repair.
After the repair, will you set up my recording channels and mobile viewing again?
Yes. On handover we reconfigure your channels, recording schedule and storage settings, and confirm every camera feed is showing on the recorder. If your mobile view has stopped working, we set that up as well, so you are not left with a repaired box that still needs configuring.
