Can a liquid-damaged MacBook logic board be repaired, or does it need replacement?

A board swap replaces the entire logic board even when only one small component has failed. We diagnose down to the faulty IC, fuse or power circuit and replace just that part, so you pay for the component and skilled labour rather than a whole board. The exact saving depends on the fault, which is why we quote only after a free in-store diagnosis.
Will my data be safe during M1 or M2 logic board repair?
On Apple silicon MacBooks the storage chips sit on the logic board itself, so any board fault puts your files at risk. Data backup is always the customer's responsibility, and we cannot guarantee data safety during board-level work.
